What does Image Cottons sell?

Image Cottons sells handloom and hand-block printed Indian textiles — fabric by the metre and ready-to-wear sarees, kurtis, dresses, dupattas and stoles — made by artisan clusters across India in nine craft traditions, including Ajrakh, Kalamkari, Jamdani and Kala Cotton. Trusted destination for premium handcrafted Indian fabrics and clothing, collaborating directly with skilled weavers and artisans across India. Wholesale & retail.

Can I buy fabric by the metre?

Yes. Every running fabric is priced per metre and cut by hand to your length from a single dye lot. Each fabric has a minimum cut, usually 2 to 2.5 metres, shown on its product page.

Do you sell wholesale to designers and boutiques?

Yes. Image Cottons sells both retail and wholesale. Fashion designers, tailoring ateliers and boutique buyers can order custom running fabric lengths and swatch books — send a wholesale enquiry at imagecottons.in/wholesale or write to us on WhatsApp.

Can I get a fabric swatch before buying?

Yes. Request a swatch through the enquiry form on the contact page (choose "Fabric Swatch Sample") or message us on WhatsApp at +91 99618 32394.

Shipping & exchanges

Do you ship across India?

Yes. We ship handcrafted textiles and ready-to-wear across most of India. Shipping is charged by your state and shown at checkout before you pay, and larger orders ship free.

How long does delivery take?

Delivery takes 3–5 business days after dispatch to major metros and tier-1 cities, and 5–10 business days elsewhere in India. A courier tracking number is emailed the day your parcel leaves the boutique.

What is your return and exchange policy?

We offer exchanges for size issues only. Report the issue within 24 hours of delivery, and return the piece unused, unwashed and with tags so it reaches us within 7 days of delivery. A continuous unboxing video is required for any damage or wrong-item claim, and custom-tailored pieces cannot be returned.

How do I track my order?

Your courier tracking number is emailed on the day your parcel is dispatched. If you need help, write to us with your order number.

Fabric & care

Will natural-dyed fabric bleed colour?

Natural indigo and madder release some excess surface pigment in the first few washes — that is normal. Hand-wash separately in cold water with half a teaspoon of rock salt or mild soapnut (reetha) liquid, and don't soak for more than 5 minutes.

How should I wash hand-block printed cotton?

Hand-wash in cold water with a pH-neutral, enzyme-free liquid detergent and line dry inside-out in the shade. Avoid bleach, optical brighteners and harsh washing powders, which strip plant pigments, and never dry natural-dyed cloth in harsh noon sun.

How do I iron and store handloom textiles?

Iron on the reverse while the cloth is slightly damp — medium-to-high heat for cottons, low heat for Jamdani and tussar silk. Store folded in breathable cotton muslin bags with neem leaves.
